Shaw Festival


The Shaw Festival Theater is the second largest repertory theater company in North America, presenting the works of George Bernard Shaw, the Irish playwright on a regular basis as well as musicals, comedies and so much more.




Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club


This 9-hole course is challenging and located in the heritage district on the shore of Lake Ontario. It's also the only surviving golf course in continental North America on its original land and has been in continuous operation since 1875. The course was built on historic lands where battles of the War of 1812 took place. In fact, still located on the property is Fort Mississauga. The club also offers a full service scenic, waterfront restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Fort George


Soldiers in redcoats fire muskets, clouding the air with black powder smoke. Fifers' and Drummers' tunes drift past blockhouses, a historic powder magazine and cannons on the lookout. Step straight from the genteel Victorian town of Niagara-on-the-Lake into the War of 1812 at Fort George, a military post that defended Upper Canada against American attacks.
